I just discovered I have fibroids through a sonogram (not pregnant) but have not seen my doctor. Has anyone had difficulty getting pregnant and having late periods? I just turned 30. I have had 2 miscarriages recently and have been told there is nothing wrong.

I know a girl that was diagnosed with fibroids about 10 yrs ago. She has no symptoms except she says she can not have kids because her uterus is out of shape due to the fibroids. She also says that her doctor told her she needed a hystercetomy but she talked him out of it. She was in her mid-30s when diagnosed. I thought you could still have kids with fibroids unless you were having really bad symptoms.

Good morning,
The first time I ever concieved I was 19 Years old that eneded in a misscarriage. I was very fearful of the doctor( Knowing that he is the person that could only help me)….. After the miscarriage I was scared to try and concieve right away. For the last three years I have been trying and nothing happens, finally after I went to have a paps smear in January I told the Dr. that I have pain after Menstral cycles. I took a vaginal ultrasound and my god I had a fibroid. The DR. suggest that I have it removed. If anyone experience this or know anyone will this cause any infertilty issues or will this be the best for me to concieve. I really appreciate everyones answers.
Lisa
Dr. Also told me the fibroid is blocking and causing me not to concieve.

I have been diagnosed with a fibroid in my uterus wall. It is apparently in a bad place and the doctor wants to operate. I am trying to conceive my first child and am already 36 years old. How long will I need to recover from fibroid surgery before we can continue to try to conceive?

I am seeking information on natural methods to cure/treat uterine fibroids. I would like to know if anyone has tried this method ( or knows of anyone who has ) and had convincing success? Serious, polite, constructive answers only please.

I was recently diagnosed with uterine fibroids and my doctor offered me options that I don’t like – drugs and surgery. I am searching for alternatives and wanted to know if anyone has maybe tried a homeopathic or herbal remedy that they could recommend. I would have asked my doctor but don’t believe I would get an objective answer. I’m deathly afraid of surgery and hate taking drugs. I’m african-american and 28 years old and want children in the future. Thanks in advance.
