I was diagnosed with having fibroid tumors back in April. I have two tumors the size of golf balls on my uterus, so far non cancerous. I have some pain and discomfort and heavy uncontrolled bleeding spells. My gyn acts like it’s no big deal, but I don’t like feeling this way all the time. Does anyone have any advice?

My girlfriend (39 years old) has been diagnosed with Fibroids she does not want to have her uterus removed and is not sure about having more kids the doctor said that UFE was the only solution but my mom had the same thing and our doctor gave her a different treatment that did not require the removal of her uterus. I need to know what would be the best choice of action and any other information on this process please help.

is it possible for the fibroid to give you mental emotions. Do your emotions go hay wire?
can you still become anemic if you are not bleeding until your period is due? I do not take birth control of any kind.

I went to the doctors many times for my periods. 8 months ago i had an ultra sound, and they discovered fibroids and polyps. I didnt think anything of it until recently I have done research on them. I did not realize that this was the reason why I have the worst periods I have heard of from my friends. (ex: PAIN, throwing up from pain, clotting, long and heavy periods, spotting, like 21 periods so far in this year alone, even went to the hospital once for pain, and so on…) I have no health insurance because of a divorce, and I wanted to know what I should do, bite the bullet and rack up doctor bills? also will i need a hysterectomy, cuz I am only 22, but life for me right now is miserable…..any help, or advice from a caring soul would be lovely, i appreciate it!

I recently had a miscarriage at 5 weeks. My dr recently told me that I have some fibroids one of which is about 7×5x5 cm.. she says that its unlikely that the fibroids caused the miscarriage, because the pregnancy was very early and if a fibroid were to cause a problem it usually does it around 7 or 8 weeks into the pregnancy.. has anyone else had these problems..anyone pg or had a child while having large fibroids? I already have two daughters and still TTC. but nervous…

I have just been diagnosed with fibroid tumors (multiple). After looking around on the internet, I see that overweight people are more at risk to have them. If I lost weight will that help my issue?
Also, will I still be able to conceive a child with fibroids?

What would you do if you were me? I’m 35, don’t have children but hope to have them in the future (don’t know when, cause I don’t have a man to have them with). I was diagnosed with 6 larde uterine fibroids, the largest being the size of a melon. I don’t have any symptoms whatsoever, except my stomach is kind of big. My doctor tells me to have a surgery to have them removed. What would you do? Please share your experience if you had them removed. How did you feel 6 weeks after surgery?
The proposed surgery is lapatoral myomectomy (via incision that is).

One Dr told me that because of the fibroids, there is going to be alot of bleeding during the labor. I want to cut down on the bleeding and I was looking at the Red Raspberry Tea. The baby has turned head down but has not dropped, I am still working everyday and walking, she has not dropped either. Are there any suggestions from anyone?
