Fibroid tumors?

What non surgical ways are there to deal with fibroid tumors?

i wouldve thought the OB/GYN but the fibroid is outside my uterus. any advice?
are there any non surgical procedures out there?

This operation resulted with the doctor having to remove my right ovary. I am not married & have no children. I would really like to have a child sometime soon. My question is what are my chances of becoming pregnant with one ovary especially at my age? Also would my menstral cycle change? How often would I ovulate?

What are some of symptoms of uterine fibroids?

I had a late miscarriage in January. I lost the baby because some sort of tissue has wrapped around the umbilical cord and cut it off. Since the miscarriage I have had light periods, been constantly looking and feeling bloated, and I am very sensitive to touch around where my uterus is. I know I sound crazy but I have been ignoring how I feel for a long time and I just want to know if I have any cause for concern. Thanks!

I had my first ultrasound today and was quite happy considering that I had minor brown spotting that resolved in less than 5 days and also passing what appears to be brown clotted dried tissue, but nevertheless teh Ultrasound was a success and I did hear my baby’s heartbeat and also saw my precious in the sac. For those who have experience spotting, I want to encourage you not to lose hope.
Perhaps the question was worded wrongly, but I am 8 weeks and 3 days pregnant and have been informed also that I have fibroids. Just want people who have been pregnant or are pregnant share with me their experience with having fibroids and how they affected their pregnancy.

fibroid removal?

i am 6 months preg. and after i have my baby (6 weeks after) i am going in to have about 5 fibroids removed. what is the surgery like?please dont scare me!! be gentle!

I understand that fibroids are common and once developed, it really doesn’t go away. But is there a way to prevent getting any more of them or having them grow larger? Is there a certain diet or lifestyle that can be contributed to them?

I thought I read somewhere that although it is not a certain cause, fibroids seem to occur often in women who experience weight gain.
