I doctor told me it will encrease the chance for me, but I have heard the opposite from people.
I haven’t even try to get pregnant yet.
I have one large fibroid and a few small ones.
Large as 16 weeks fetus.

My doctor said I might have fibroid tumors. We havent talked about any of it yet but I have looked online at different options. What can I do short from having a hestorectomy?

An MRI of my hip a few weeks ago shows a suspected fibroid tumor on my uterus. If anyone has experienced this, I would appreciate any info you could give me…i.e. treatment, recovery, etc. Thanks.

I know there are loads of info on this on the net, but I’m hoping for information from people with first hand knowledge about this form of treatment.

Hi I am 36 and scheduled to have a hysterectomy on 17th Sept because of Fibroids and suspected Endometriosis, has anyone else had to have this done for these reasons, how did it go? do you think you made the right decision? and how long are you expected to be in hospital for?
PS. Forgot to mention I am having a total abdominal hysterectomy where they take my uterus and cervix, they are leaving my ovaries, and they are cutting me open so I will have a scar

My main concern is to preserve fertility. I don’t care too much about a possible scar or blood loss.

I have been told that I may have fibroid tumors but I don’t exactly know what they are. I know that it is connected to my menstrual cycle. When I get my period, I have excruciating cramps and discomfort. I throw up excessively and I tend to pass out. However, I am only 17 years old. Any suggestions?

My doctor suggests I get a endometrial ablation, which basically destroys the lining of my uterus and would make me infertile. This is because one of the fibroids is growing under the lining. This "treatment" would only help with the mentstrual symptoms (lighter, shorter, less painful), but not with the day to day pain. The fibroids would continue to grow and I would still have to have surgery.

I would prefer to shrink the fibroids, and go with a natural method if possible. Please advise what is the best course of action. I would like to at least have one child.
