yesterday i found out i had fibroids in my uterus actually a year ago i was diagnosed thru ultra sound then six months ago another ultrasound came back showing no more, now again i have them do they cause infertility?my DR. says no but i really don’t like him i’m looking for a female gyno.my periods are very long and heavy with lots of pain he says fibroids do not cause pain well what does he know he’s a man.test also showed polyps in to parts of my colon and are alot scattered he says that’s what’s most likely causing my pain and i think it’s a female problem that’s causing my pain is he just trying to throw me back to my regular DR. or do you think that he’s wright that i should be worried about my polps then anything else wright now,he says i’m fine in the female dept why can’t i believe it?buy the way i’m 35 and it just seems impossible to have so may polyps in my colon.

I have fibroids and hyperplasia w/atypia. Right now I’m on Provera to control the bleeding (and it’s working) but you don’t want to stay on HRT too long and, I’m not interested in having anymore children. Any advice or guidance…thanks!!!
The doctor does not want to take out the ovaries which mean that I will not suffer from hot flashes or experience menopause.

My mom and my nana (grandmother) were both diagnosed with having fibroids. I know that they are genetic, so my probability of having them is higher than the average women. I often get sharp pains in my lower stomach on my right side. A few days ago the pain was so intense during sex that I had to stop. Yesterday it was excruciating to even set up, lay down, or even walk. I stayed up most of the night trying to deal with the pain. Also I have to urinate often, majority of the time have painful periods, and fullness and pressure in my lower abdomen along with other symptoms. This has happened many times in the past but I never made the connection between the pain and fibroids until recently. I know that pain during sex, frequent urination, fullness and pressure in the abdominal, area are some of the symptoms of fibroids. Could it be that I have a fibroid?

I was very anemic and my HB was 4.5 and was transfused before undergoing operation of fibroids. But after operation I came out with red eyes and my Dr told me to see the eye specialist which I did. Got some eye drop 4 red eyes but have never stabilized. What could be the cause? Thank you.

I’m in my mid 20’s, I know I’m techenically younger then the normal age bracket, but my last exam my dr felt a mass and I’m following up with a ultrasound. How has it effect you, each month the pain grows worse.

I was just diagnosed with uterine fibroids and am not sure what to expect. Can they turn cancerous? How are they treated? Is there a way to stop them from growing? Any info would be helpful. Thanks.
