My doc told me 7 months ago that i have a fibroid tumor. I had no idea what that was but i am always in a lot of pain, and bleed a lot. What really sucks is that i have been ttc for about 7 1/2 months with no luck but i look like i am about 4 months pregnant and my stomach is always very hard. Any advice would help.

I had a dating scan yesterday which indicated I was 6 weeks pregnant. They also found a number of fibroids. I’m now a little scared and was wondering if there is any ladies that are in the same or similar situation?

I’m not sure if I’m getting MS or what. I pee quite often. I never had kids, my blood sugar is in check, and I don’t have uterine fibroids. (I’m female so I don’t have an enlarged prostate) So what is wrong with me? Is this the beginning of MS or something else? Are there any alternative therapies for this? Thanks!

I went to the Dr. yesterday to get a pap smear at a free clinic and found out that I have
a fibroid tumor in my uterus. He said it has made my uterus the size of a 8
week pregnancy. I asked him about having more kids and he said "If you want
more, you better do it as soon as possible" then left. Can you please tell
me more about what my options are?

I have a large fibroid tumor that needs to be removed. Thursday I see the doctor to discuss options and I am thinking about requesting a hysterectomy. For two reasons, I won’t ever have to worry about fibroids again (they can grow back after being reomved) and I won’t have to worry about having a period again. Obviously I am done having children. Does anyone have any info I should consider before I have this surgery? Any experiences good or bad, I want to know.

I was told I have two fibroids in the uterus, has anyone had this problem. Could this be the cause I not been able to get pregnant? Is it painful when they remove them and could I get pregnant if they remove them?

Fibroids run in my family, my nan had a hysterectomy at 24 because of fibroids and my mum has them.
Currently the doctors are investigating as to whether I have fibroids or not because of the symptoms I have.
I’m 19. Is this too young to have fibroids?
and if I do have fibroids, would I be too young for a hysterectomy?
Thank you xx

Any of you ladies ever have this surgery? It seems it will be inevitable for me since they have been monitoring my fibroids via ultrasound and they keep getting larger. I’m just wondering how long it took to recover from this type of surgery.
