I was told I needed to have my uterus removed due to a fibroid cyst that has increased in size. I am worried about how this surgery will affect my relationship and my selfworth. Please share your experience. (I’d love to hear a man’s point of view on this as well)

I’ve had fibroid tumors ever since my two year old son was born. Been to OB/GYN and he said he will not remove them. He said they could grow back, too risky. The doctor said, I would have to wait until menapause for them to disappear. They are a pain to deal with, I am married and it has contributed to a sexual dysfunction for me. I truly believe Jesus will heal me from them, since the doctor won’t touch me. I’m taking it to the throne, now. How is God, in direction going to heal me? I want to follow His will, His lead on how He wants to heal me. I believe and have had The LORD of Hosts breathe on me before, numerous times. I have prayed for healing, I haven’t felt the annointing over the tumors themselves. I need direction in counsel in revelation of God speaking on what to do in detail. Please help me with prayer in receiving revelation from God and then relaying the message over to me concerning my healing. Thank you for your help!

My mom is in excruciating pain every day.
She was diagnosed with having Cystitis the first time she went to the emergency room at our local hospital, but the second time we went back, after a few days because the pain was unbearable, she was diagnosed with having uterine fibroids. She was told by the emergency room doctors to make an appointment with her doctor so that she could recommend her with a gynecologist.
After an unsuccessful week of trying to make an appointment with the gynecologist, she finally made one and was charged 5.
My mom was positive that the uterine fibroids was the cause of her pain/symptoms, but the gynecologist had another answer to her symptoms. According to the doctor uterine fibroids don’t cause so much pain/aren’t that painful. She, the doctor, believes that my mom suffers from Cystitis too. She prescribed my mother Elmiron. The gynecologist says she should see results in about 1-2 months.
Should my mom wait 1 or 2 months to see if Elmiron really works…..what if it doesn’t? What if the uterine fibroids are the ones causing the pain. My mother is so confused and cries constantly because the pain she feels is too much.

Her symptoms are the following:
Excruciating pain from the knee down, both legs.
Her toes ache a lot.
Her lower abdomen aches, specially the sides (where the thigh and lower abdomen meet).
She also has back pain.
She feels the need to pee frequently but sometimes the pee doesn’t come out.
When the pee does come out it hurts like hell….does not burn…..it hurts! Her lower abdomen also hurts.

Do you have or had Cystitis or uterine fibroids? If yes, are my mother’s symptoms normal?

I’m so scared and concerned for her. I feel so bad for her because it breaks my heart to see her cry.
FYI: My mom has diabetes and she is 52 yrs old.

Uterine Fibroids, I think I might have them?

I asked a question last night about having abdomen pain, and someone suggested that I could have uterine fibroids. I have had a very sensitive stomach for several months now and I also have had two very heavy and long periods and the past months. I also feel almost bloated constantly. So I have appointment with my gyno today, but I am freaking out. My husband and I where going to start to try for a baby next month. And I have been reading complications with fibroids. I am also very young to have them (23). Any information, or successful pregnancies would be great. Also I hear that they grow with your baby, doesn’t that make you huge when you are pregnant? Thanks!

Also I havent had a bm in 5 days I have been takeing stool softners and fibercon and today I ate prunes still nothing is this normal? and one more thing my urine is cloudy and I have to really push to empty my bladder. I go to the doctor on the 22 Aug for staple removal is all this normal from the anesthia?I heard the bowls are the last thing to move but this long they gave me citrtrate to drink in the hospital and I went 2 days in a row now nothing. thanks for all your help.

Uterine Fibroids and Pregnancy?

About a week ago I went to the emergency room (the day my period came) because of really bad cramps and dizziness…after a pelvic exam, a sonogram, a ct scan and an internal sonogram, the doctor said I had uterine fibroids. He said that it was nothing to worry about becuase they are really tiny. My question is has anyone else been through this before? I am really afraid because I have read that if or when you get pregnant they will grow bigger causing you to look huge and may cause complications with the baby. My husband and I were planning on starting a family…Please help! Thanks all!

ovarian cancer, fibroid tumors, sickle cell?

Hello, I have a friend who has ovarian cancer, cancerous fibroid tumors that are huge and sickle cell. I have been trying to help her through this very rough time. She is not saying much but she has had this for over a year and new cancer cells are growing. They have not operated, Am I too assume that they are too far gone and that they cannot? Her blood is always a factor but I am confused. Why wouldnt the doctors take out what should not be in there?
She takes morphine shots once in a while which signals to me they are just treating the pain.
Please help me understand. And one more thing, she did have it in her colon also but states it is gone?
Thanks so much.
