I had an abdominal myomectomy surgery done on the 14th february 2009 to remove a big fibroid in my womb after the surgery the doctor told me that the cervix was slightly damaged during the procedure would it be difficult for me to become pregnant?
She said if I were to become pregnant I would have to have a stitch done on the cervix to keep the baby inside the uterus because they had to cut the back of the uterus to take out the fibroid

I am 41, no kids, just got engaged and wanted to start my family. I just don’t want to have a hysterectomy yet. But, I don’t want to risk cancer either.

but I bled on after the virginal ultrasound scan which doctor too got scared and made me fear too.i didnt have any pain or even the ultrasound scan probe didnt come with blood.but i was tensed before the scan.and after the scan when i got up from the bed suddenly i start bleeding which made me shivering with fear.no cramps or anything.i’m trying to get pregnant.after i came home it bled a little and it was over.this was a shocking experience and I never wanted to go to a doctor again.doctor was a lady and reacted as she has never seen blood before.it was one year before and within this one year I never bled inbetween or when intercourse either.i can not forget that incident still and that prevents me from going to a doctor again.anybody had similar experience on the first day of ultrasound?i’m still worried.but my periods are regular and I get it every month on time.first two days i have cramping and after that it goes and period lasts for 4-5 days.i assum this is healthy.and my husbands sperm count is low.he is under treatment.anyway i’m worried over that incident and don’t like to go to a doctor again.why did i bled that day??and till now never bled.do i have any unusual bleeding problems or fibroids or anything?i did a blood test soon after that.everything were normal except two things which is slightly above average.neutrophilosis and prolactin.the comment was i have mild neutrophilosis infection.and my prolactin was 29.1. other than that everything was in the range they have given in the report.I took diflucan one tablet for the infection.after that never went for a treatment or test.so far periods are regular and i also feel ovulation on the 14-15th day of my cycle with a mild cramp either side every month.i dont know what i should do further.

I just had an ultrasound last week and my doctor called me at home and told me that she saw a fibroid tumor on my uterus but not to worry it’s little (1cm). Do I really need to be worried or will it just go away on it’s own. My mom had fibroid tumors and eventually she had to get a hysterectomy. I was having symptoms thats why she ordered the ultrasound, but now I feel fine.

ok im only 25 and i have a fibroid on the left ovary the size of a tennis ball. It took the doctors forever to discover it because they feel i’m too young to have any major problems in and around my uterus. Anyway I believe the tumor(fibroid) is causing my stomach to increase in size because of how big it it. Not only that, my Doc claims there may may another one on the left side that right now is small and he wants to keep a close eye on it to see if the left side goes down before doing surgery. That’s complete BS to me! The tumor on the right side may be increasing and causing me to gain massive weight.
I want to know if it’s all in my head that i’m gaining weight in my stomach because of the tumor, or am i just getting Fat! I use to be so small, now i weigh 140 at 5′8 which isn’t that big but for me it is bigger than i’ve ever been. I now go to the gym disregarding the fact that there is a tennis ball in my stomach in hopes of slimming back down but am I just waisting my time??
