I was diagnosed about 3 months ago with 3 fibroids in my uterus, so large they told me I was "about 18 weeks"! I was informed that the soonest I could get surgery was in June so the doctor suggested I take Lu pron to ease my pain, stop the growth and lighten my symptoms of which were constant pain and pressure on my bladder, my bowel and horrible cramps. Anyhow, I got the Lu Pron injection a little more than a month ago and was told to wait a month then start taking a prescription of replacement hormones. Estrogen and Progesteron. Question is, If I feel great, better then I felt in years, with no side effects to complain about, just very light headaches and barely noticable warm flashes, is it necessary for me to take the hormones?
I’ve only heard horrible things about Lupron, but I have to say, I feel great!!

I am scheduled to go in on Friday due to a prior myomectomy (fibroid removal). I will be 37 weeks and 5 days when I go in. I think I understand the process from the time I check into the hospital until I get on the operating table. But I want to know if the spinal block hurts. I have read varying opinions. I am a total wimp when it comes to pain and I am terrified of needles. I used to almost faint when getting blood drawn, but finally realized that it took them twice as long (and more sticks) so now I just grin and bear it. I am also wondering if there is a smell or anything that could make me sick?
After they remove the baby and sew me back up, how long will it be before I can pump my breast milk. I am planning to exclusively pump as I just can’t warm up to the idea of feeding him directly from the breast. I am actually waiting on a return phone call from the Lactation Specialist because I don’t know if I am going to be able to exclusively pump when I go back to work in eight weeks.
I had an appendectomy in 2004, so if having a c-section feels anything like that did then I know I will need some pain medication for the first day or so. When I had my appendectomy I was up within seven days or so and driving as well (even though I shouldn’t have been). My mind is just kind of racing back and forth and I really want to hear some current feedback on what to expect (as some procedures do tend to change every couple of years).
My husband will be off all next week to help me when I come home and my mother inlaw will be there the following week. Do I need coverage during the third week? I am a wimp when it comes to pain but I am not the type who likes to lie around with someone waiting on me hand and foot every minute of the day. But I am a first time parent and I have literally no experience with babies. I think the last diaper I changed was probably 15 years ago. I am not totally dumb as to change a diaper but I am going to be starting this parenting thing from scratch.

Is this treatment for this paticular condition?
Is this something like cancer or it is cancer or early stages of cancer.
Does this hitopathology report sings of cancer or not cancer?

I will be a partial if it is recommneded. My periods are so heavy that I wear 2 tampons and an overnight! This has been going on about 3.5 years and I am so tired of it. My sister had one done due to fibroids as well. I was bleeding so bad one day that I started shaking. Sometimes I have a FLOOD and I always carry a change of clothes in my trunk. I will take any suggestions. I am also anemic.

I had this procedure a year ago because I had a fibroid in my uterus; however I will still be able to have children. How come these kinds of surgeries are a disqualification as an egg donor?

my fibroids were found during the checking of my baby. i was bleeding heavily with no pain. i lost the baby in January. but since then i have had irregular periods. by irregular i mean that my period isn’t on time like it used to be. i used to get it every month on the same date for example the 19th of every month. well the past few months its been 2day late..2days early and recently it was 5 days late. also i used to get really bad cramps when i was younger but they stopped now they’re back and 10 times worse. i got my period this morning and it pretty much paralyzed me. i couldn’t walk i couldn’t even roll over in bed with out hurting. i was even in tears. could my fibroids be causing all of this? i have one in my cervix and one in my uterus.
p.s. i know i should go to a doctor ..im just waiting on my insurance to pass. im just really worried and scared and would like some input.
i havent had children i lost my child 9 months ago so i cannit do anything drastic cause i still want children.
