I am anemic..my count was 5 and is now upto 20 but should be 30. I have also found out that I have 2 Fibroids but not sure of size til Tues.Do they shrink on their own before menopause? I am 39 yrs old and my periods are very heavy (tampon plus 2 pads) that I do not want to leave the house for 3 days. From reading I have found out that Fibroids are most likely the cause of being anemic & heavy flow. I am trying to weigh my options before I go see the doctor on Tuesday. I had my tubes tied about 8 yrs ago so children are not part of the equation.

I had a hysterectomy last month for fibroids and bleeding that couldn’t be controlled. I hadn’t even consider having kids before surgery but now that the option has been taken away I feel lost and angry. I can’t shake feeling depressed and I end up crying all the time. I’m hoping that I will feel better when I can return to work to take my mind off of it. I still have my ovaries, however maybe they’re in shock from surgery? Am I just hormonal?

I’ve been on the depo for a year this week, needless to say I won’t be doing this again. I have to be on birth control for uterine fibroids and endometriosis. I’m not looking to conceive any time within the next few years. Anything anyone loved? I’ve done ortho, ortho low, nuva ring, and depo. I am totally against any IUD/Coil/implant. I cannot have anything foreign in my body full-time, it freaks me out.

What type of pain meds do they usually give you? Will I be in a lot of pain?

Just wondering how many women have been TTC for 18+ months?
I am now at the 18 month mark
This month I have stopped charting, not using opks etc just pregnancy vitamin daily.
I have pcos, endo and 2 uterine fibroids. I am going to see GYN in June to book in for ANOTHER laparoscopy and d&c
How is everyone else going?

In March, I found out that both of my ovaries were covered with cysts, and that I had a small fibroid in my uterous. My dr put me on a lower estregen bc and said that the fibroid is not growing or causing any problems. In June all the small cysts were gone and the larger ones had shrunk by about half. He asked if I absolutely needed to be on the pill (which I took as a sugesstion that I go off of it). June was my last cycle of pills, and I should’ve started around July 19, but I haven’t yet. I just took a HPT to be sure, and (as I expected) it was negative. I feel pressure and a tiny bit of pain in my lower abdomen. Also my mom and 3 of her 4 sisters had hysterectomies in their 30’s or early 40’s due to fibroids.
I hate the thought of more tests and internal sono’s, but I am concerned that either the cysts are back or the fibroid is growing. My youngest is 8 so I’ve been on the pill for a LONG time. Should I wait a few cycles to see if it evens out or call the dr?

My question is what are my chances of getting pregnant if i successfully undergo an operation to remove this tumor and correct the my tubes? Is it possible to successfully correct such a condition by surgery?

We have been TTC#1 since April with no luck.
I have 3 small Fibroids located outside of my uterine wall and I am also overweight.
(5′5 , 210pd)

I am concerned my Progesterone levels maybe to low to conceive.
When I spoke with my OBGYN he’s only reply was to work on losing weight, maintain a healthy diet, and getting pregnant takes time.
He told me if we didn’t conceive after 1 year of trying he would order blood work with my next annual pap.

My concern is I know getting pregnant can take time but I am 33 going on 34. I don’t really feel I have time to waste.
DP and I have been together for almost 9 years and the only method of BC we ever used was pulling out. In 9 years I have never fallen preggo.
In the past 4 months we have intentionally tried and still no BFP.
The last 2 months we used an OPK, BBT, and CM charting, still BFN.

My cycles are regular every 30 days, and outside of being over weight I don’t have any other health concerns.

My heart is telling me I am not getting preggo because my Progesterone is too low and I won’t get preggo until my hormones are regulated.

After doing some online research I read Chaste-berry or Progesterone cream might help..

And I am starting to get desperate.

I would appreciate any advice… I am hoping to find a more natural approach before seeking the advice of fertility specialist.

Do you know of anything that can get rid of uterine fibroids and ovarian cyst, or can only the medical people take care of that.
