Someone please advise… In the last week of August, I had a really bad UTI; after a week of it being refractory to tons of water and cranberry products, I called my OB/GYN who prescribed Bactrim. No change. A week after the Bactrim course was over, I went to see my MD, where UA revealed WBC’s and RBC’s. By this time you could actually see debris in my urine. He prescribed Cipro. Little change – still pain (not burning) and feeling of not having completely voided. A second urine culture, however (post Cipro), was completely normal, no infection, and my PCP said my symptoms are because of my IDDM. Yes, okay, I agree – but am I just supposed to live with the pain (a pressure-type suprapubic pain, as if I have a hernia IN my bladder – is that even possible?) and feeling of the inability to go all the way? What if I have a urinoma, an abscess, or uterine fibroids encroaching on my bladder? Sex is somewhat uncomfortable because of this, as well. What’s going on? Please help.

What type of natural remedy can be used for dealing with a large fibroid tumor? My mother has almost died because she literally bleed to death (menstrauting heavily for months). She became severly anemic with a blood volume level of a mere 3. Normal is 12. She recieved 5 blood transfusions over a 2 month span. They believe it’s all been a result of the fibroid tumor in her uterus. She is trying desperatly to get their insurance company to cover it but they are jerking my parents around calling all of this pre existing and saying they wont cover a dime for any of it including the bills already. My parents are already 100,000 in medical bills. They will not cover the surgery until Nov. of this year. What can be taken naturally in the mean time to help her not have the severe pain and bleeding. Her stomach is so bloated she looks like she’s 5 months pregnant. She always has pain and she always bleeds so bad. I’m worried so badly about my mom. Someone help please!!!

Been having bladdder spasms for over 6mths now. Intense cramps right after I pee. I’ve had a D&C procedure & checked ovaries and uterus for cysts, fibroids, endometriosis, etc. Nothing has turned up gyno wise. Urologist performed a cystoscopy a few weeks ago after meds did not work (urised & 4 others). They saw some spotting on the lining of the uterus but did not diagnose me with IC since I do not have any other symptoms besides the spasms (no UTI’s, frequency, burning while urinating, odor, etc…) However, I’m still getting the spasms and quite frustrated to say the least. I know the cysto has a 30-40% of subduing the spasms but it didn’t work. Has anyone had this? What have you done to cure this?

I have a large uterine fibroid that is bigger than my uterus. My treatment consists of 3 lupron shots to decrease the size before surgery. I just got my 3rd shot today and they did an ultrasound, which showed that the fibroid had only shrunk 1 cm. It’s still too big to have laproscopic surgery done at this size. I was wondering if anyone has had or knows if the third lupron shot should produce the most shrinkage?? Thanks!!
