I have a 6.8 centimeter cyst on my ovaries that may have to be removed. I’ve had to have surgery before and I got a fibroid tumor removed that was on my uterus. Therefore if I have to have surgery again I want everything removed so there would be no chance of anything growing back. the thing is I want to have a child therefore I would like to know if carrying a child while having a 6.8 centimeter cyst in me would be a risk. I figure if I get pregnant and then I have a baby and have the cyst removed that would we fine but my problem is I don’t know if that would be possible. I mean I don’t want me or my child to be in danger at all what so ever. Can someone please help me out with this?

We are in our 30s and very serious about each other. He proposed to me, I said I need more time before i can say yes but basically it’s headed towards marriage.
Now, I went to visit a doctor on a routine checkup and it turns out I have uterine fibroids and I need a surgery to remove them before I even think about getting pregnant. They are huge and I had no idea I had them. That makes me feel deficient as a woman. I’m so scared to tell him. How do I tell him and when do I tell him ? Now (which is right away as soon as I learned myself) or later (when I’ve done more research about what it is and how it needs to be treated)? What makes things harder we are apart now and will only see each other in 8 weeks from now.

I would definitely share it with a woman. Women know that all I need is a support. Guys on the other hand feel the pressure to give me a solution. Well he can’t give me a solution to this. Isn’t it cruel to torture him with this problems? But not tellining is like lying?

Ok, Im 22 and my period has been crazy this last cycle. It usually lasts 5 days no matter what. This last cycle it only lasted about 3 days. I didnt get my usual menstural symptoms either. It ended on July 29. For the last 3 or so days Ive been having severe breast pain. Usualy in 1 or the other. Its a sharp pain that lasts about 15-20 mins and then it goes away usually. Ive been more moody than usual and Im really tired all the time. I dont know what it could be. My cycle has never been this off before and Im freaking out over all the stuff I read on the net about breast cancer and fibroids. I doubt its pregnancy, I never ovulated during my period before.

I dotn think I did ovulate during my period, but I know it IS possible from what my dr told me before. VERY rare, but possible. And due to how heavy it was for the 2 days Im pretty sure it was, for sure, my period.
What freaks me out is its never happened before. Ive asked around and everyone assumes its pregnancy. Im about 99.9% sure its not. I say this b/c weve been careful so that doesnt happen (not completely carful due to the fatct Im not on BC) and I have been sexually active, even during my period.
My dr wasnt in today and Im still pretty freaked out.

I have a uterine fibroid that is 2x’s the size of my uterus. I can’t have it surgically removed until November this year my health insurance won’t cover the surgery until then b/c of a pre-existant clause. The reason I’m concerned is a general family doctor told me that depending on the position of the fibroid it could cause me to lose an ovary. I’ve already lost one ovary from another surgery and I’m afraid I might lose this one. The fibroid is laying on my cervix right now and the ovary looked healthy at my last check up. Is there any chance this fibroid could grow or move and cause me to lose my ovary? If anyone has any thoughts or suggestions about my situation it would be greatly appreciated!!

I’m measuring about 8 weeks to big and my doctor will schedule me an ultrasound at my next appointment she has already done 3 ultrasounds and there was only one baby. she said that because I’m only 16 weeks that it is most likely twins and not excess amniotic fluid or uterine fibroids but we won’t know until the ultraound what is wrong for sure. any way for those of you who have twins or are pregnant with twins, when did you find out and did you have any ultrasounds before you found out? I had one at 5w5d one at 6w6w and one at 10 week and they only saw one baby all three times so I why would she suspect twins now?
