I used to suffer from fibroids- the symptoms did not show up for a long time. When the uterine fibroid turmors are small in size the symptoms are not so severe. Only when the increase in size and numbers do we start noticing the symptoms.
Symptoms of fibroids vary depending on location, size, and complications. One in every four women suffering from it has to put up with abdominal bleeding. Pain, infertility or repeated miscarriage, back pain, and urinary problems are the other common symptoms of fibroids.
I used to have excessive bleeding and fibroids was detected after an ultrasound.

I had them 5 years ago, they were diagnosed when I complained about long heavy periods ( 2weeks sometimes ), bloated stomach all the time, not only when period was on. I had extreme fatigue, became anemic, had pain in lower (R) 0r (L) side of abdomen, went to doctor and was diagnosed. Had the surgically removed, now I am fine.
one of my friend has fibroids and she told me its painful when shes having menstruation and when she is having sex.. and she found about this book.. hope it helps
