basically i get really bad period pains, and annoyingly, i always come on my period at about 3am. what this means is that i can’t take painkillers as soon as i feel the pain starting to try and combat it, the first i know of my period is when i wake up at about half 3 in agony. then, i have to take 2 paracetamol and 2 ibuprofen immediately, then wait for about an hour, or up to two hours, in horrible horrible pain until i can fall back asleep. the pain hasn’t gone away, i just get back to sleep eventually cos i’m so tired. the problem is that the pain is getting worse recently and i absolutely dread my period. i can’t get up to make a hot water bottle or take a bath, its too painful, and its starting to interfere with my everyday life. i just don’t know what to do anymore, i’ve got exams coming up and i can’t be doing with being awake at half 5 when i have to get up at half six for school. i’m only 15. i’ve made an appointment with the doctor for tomorrow but i just don’t know what to say.. i don’t really know what i want her to do. i don’t want her to do tests for fibroids or endiotrimitus or whatever that word is for that thing that causes period pains. i don’t really think industrial strength painkillers are what i need since i can’t take them till the pain is well underway. i just want my period gone.. but going on the contraceptive pill would still mean having periods, unless its that other pill, and it all just seems a bit drastic.

My mother had a Total Abdominal Hysterectomy with Attensive Lysis of Abdominal and Pelvic Adhesions five years ago.

The surgeon told her that she had Total Hysterectomy. Today she called the hospital that has records of only the type of surgery she had – which is when she found out that she had a "Total Abdominal Hysterectomy with Attensive Lysis of Abdominal and Pelvic Adhesions".

My mother thought for sure that the Surgeon was removing Everything (he said the words "I had to remove Everything" out of his mouth.) – Ovaries, Fallopian Tubes, Uterus and the Cervix. But to her discovery, her recent doctor told her that she has Both ovaries and fallopian tubes, only her Uterus was removed.

My mother went to this recent doctor due to the fact that she’s have severe pain in her abdominal and lower back area

The recent doctor told her that she has Fibroid Cysts on BOTH of her Ovaries – they’re both about Four Centimeters large in size.

Also, because of her thinking that her ovaries were removed, she’s told other doctors about this. This lead to doctors telling her to take Estrogen.

The fact that her Own ovaries have been producing Estrogen themselves and her taking much additional Estrogen for over Four years can cause a higher risk for her to develop Cancer. – This is what Frightens me more than Anything.

Could this possibly be a law suit case? Can you sue if you get fibroids on Both Ovaries after a Total Abdominal Hysterectomy?

Mirena coil bleeding problems?

I have had problems with this for two years now I bleed almost once a week for a day or two, it starts after sex or even during sex. Gp has ruled out infections, pregnancy, fibroids etc.

I also suffer from panic attacks, vertigo and skin and hair problemsd which i read online that can be caused by the mirena. I’ve just made an appointment to get the damn thing removed because basically i want my life back. Anyone else had similar experiences? What form of contraception is best to go nto next? I was on the pill years ago and that never had these problems.

10 months postpartum.
3 weeks of cramping and then a horrible period that was so heavy for over a day that they ordered me to go to the ER instead of my doctor. Neither ER nor OBGYN found cysts, fibroids, miscarriage or other cause (negative pregnancy test and pelvic exams).
Period lightened, then ended after one week (CD 7, with light spotting on 8).
Light cramping continued when I was active.
Increased cramping and very light brown spotting today (14 days after first day of my period), which is already going away.

I did have sex three times last week without protection, because of a latex sensitivity (plus we’re married and not too worried). However, it’s way early for implantation bleeding (max of 5 days since the first time). What else could cause the cramping and spotting or is it common to spot mid-cycle?

Do you have extremely irregular periods?

Mine have no regularity to them at all. It could come for a month then be off for three days then on for a week then off for a month then on for 2 weeks…you get the point…

Anyways, I have always heard that if you have extremely irregular periods, there is an underlying cause. For example, fibroids or ovarian cysts…etc. I went to the doctor today and had an ultrasound done to see if anything was wrong, but everything was normal. (I’ve been on different birth control methods and none of them regulated my periods)

Do you have irregular periods and have nothing wrong…just irregular?

can fibroids cause spotting inbetween periods?

Giant cell tumor with bone grafting from my ankle bone at 16yrs, Fibroids from my uterus at 30, small "blood vessell" tumor from my finger at 33 and now at 37 a "reactive" benign tumor that exploded in my hand and attached itself to the tendon. Not sure if there are tests to scan for tumors throughout the body. Any diseases that anyone is aware of that can cause different tumors in the body? And does anyone know what a "reactive" biopsy reading would mean? HELP!

I haven’t seen my real tummy since June. Occasionally I wake up almost normal but stress or any food bloats me up huge. I’ve seen 10-12 doctors.

Here’s whats been ruled out, and I’m SERIOUS: food allergies, dairy (I’m VEGAN,) H. Pylori, ovarian cysts, fibroids, Candida, blood in stool, parasites, acid stomach.

What I DO have: gallstones. I had an ERCP where my sphincter of Oddi was found to be closed shut tight. A sphincterotomy relieved pain in the general area but NOT general stomach pain (gnawing) and bloating.

I don’t have "attacks," I can eat fatty foods with no problems at all but I dont often. I suspect my stones are actually silent stones and the bloating is something else. I had one small stone when I got the first ultrasound, 3 days after the bloating began. Now I have "several." I can’t concentrate on work or school, so depressed. Any ideas on causes or remedies? Please no answers involving not swallowing air or eating and drinking at the same time or eating large meals.
