i’m 28 year old african american woman. I suffer from pms that causes me to take pain pills (800), headaches, back pain, vomiting, mood swings, Diarrhea, and cramps. I learned a week ago i have lots of fibroids. Now what?

My first period came just before the 2 week easter holiday and finished during the holiday and yesterday my period started again, this is the second time in one month, it’s never happened before and there was alot of blood on my cover, much much more than usual.
Does anyone know what’s caused it?
My mum says it could be stress or fibroids.
Any other suggestions?
helpp, I’m worried, I’m only 14, how can I get fibroids at such a young age? :S

when i was in the womb it was found my mum had a massive fibroid beside me

i was stressed out and was late and i came out like a gorilla (hairy) did this fybroid cos this?

in my 20’s now i suffer from hirstuism is this maybe why?

also was this ovarian cancer or just a fybroid?

in later years she had a tumor in her back and a secondary one in her lung and now pancreas

in trying to understand was this fybroid ovarian cyst or ovarian cancer or just a fybroid and did that cause the other tumors?

So the last three days my back and left side have been hurting. Bad enough to where I went to the doctor. An ultrasound shows the baby is just fine, heartbeat, etc but I was told I have a Fibroid on my Uterus. The doctor didn’t seem too concerned but she did state it has grown from 1cm to 3cm. I am currently 10 weeks pregnant. When I got back to work I figured I would do some reading up on it and OMG I shouldn’t have done that because I now know of all of the complications it can cause during pregnancy, labor, as well as the baby missing limbs.. Can anyone set my mind at ease about this?

She has seen several specialist and no one can tell her why. However, she has been diagnosed with fibroids on her uterus and often experiences a lot of stomach cramping on her right side on a continuous basis. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Does anyone know a possible cause of this? Any useful information or resources are welcome.

Has anyone ever had a cyst, fibroid, endometriosis, or other medical condition similar? Which of these would most likely cause sudden abnormal periods, heavy cramping, pain when pushed on pelvic area and pain during intercourse? I had an ultrasound today and just wondering….

I went to see my doctor today to get a Mirena IUC put in place. During the pelvic exam she said she ‘felt something’ said it felt like a baby but did a pregnancy test and it came out negative. She said my uterus is 3 times the normal size ( I had a baby 7 1/2) months ago and this isn’t normal…could cysts or fibroids cause the enlarged uterus? I haven’t been in any pain at all… I have to book an ultrasound but just want to know if there is anything I should be concerned about??

cause severe bleeding?

I have 3 periods a month, and am in bed the whole month and can hardly get out of bed. I go to emergency 2 twice a month for bleeding and anemia. The doctors did tests like biopsies, colposcopy and I had 4 D and C’s done in the past and pap smears and ultrasounds, and they show nothing. So why the heck am I bleeding and cramping almost every day????? if there is nothing wrong.
