Fibroid condition requires surgery.but I was diagnosed without insurance.I’ve tried everything I could think of including clinical trials.I can’t pay the ,000.00 surgery myself.

after mu surgery to remove a fibriod from my uterus, my doctor assured me that my usually heavy and lengthy menstrual flow, would gradually reduce as the months go by. it has reduce to a large extent, but now, on the second day, it flows so much that i always get stained..thereafter,it reduces and stops.the good part is that my period that usually takes 7-2weeks, now flows for just 4 to 5days.but the second heavy flow issue bothers me.what should i do?

I had 2 fibroid adenomas removed from my left breast in Feb of 2003 (1 at 6:00 & 1 behind nipple). Only a little more than a year after surgery I had a lump in the same 6:00 position. I had a mamo & ultrasound and was told that they were inconclusive and I needed a biopsy. Not wanting to go through surgery for every lump I was going to get, I chickened out and neglected to go back to the dr. About 3mos ago, I started having pain in my left breast that went from my armpit to my nipple. I went back to the dr who ordered another mamo & us. Same results except that now I have lymph nodes in both breasts as well as an inconclusive solid mass. I NEED to schedule a biopsy and will. However, the gyno also gave me the bad news that my Pap came back abnormal with low-grade cell changes. I’m a 33 yr old pretty healthy woman – so what are the odds or chances that I have breast and/or cervical cancer? Any information on these symptoms, conditions, tests, diagnosis, procedures, etc would be greatly appreciated. I’m on pins and needles worrying because I’m the mother of 4 children. Please help.

I’m 20 years old, and for the past couple months I have been experiencing random severe pain in my lower pelvic area. In fact not even a week ago it got so bad that it woke me up at 3 in the morning. It hurt so bad I cried and thought about calling 911. But thirty minutes later it went away completely. That was the second time it happened that day.
I decided to go to the doctor the next afternoon where she referred me to the hospital to get an ultrasound.
Later that day I got a phone call from my doctor who told me that I had a cluster of cysts on my left ovary and on my right there a 4 x 2.5 x 3.4 cm "complex mass" on my ovary. She sounded like it was a big deal and told me she was making an appointment for me at an OBGYN.
I doubt it’s anything cancerous since I have a fibroid in my right breast too that’s been under watch.
But I’m just wondering if i’m going to be faced with surgery.
I know it’s small, but it’s really hurting me.
So I don’t really know what to think
Any insight?
Thanks.

In March 2009, I had a fibroid removed from my uterus. I found out I was a little over five weeks pregnant in June. I was advised that I would probably have to have a c-section due to the uterine surgery. A specialist performed the surgery at another hospital (as I went to get a second opinion and he suggested it be removed). I really liked my current gynecologist so I want back to him for regular prenatal care.
He reviewed my surgical report at my 27 week appointment which was on Monday, and said I would need to have a c-section. He said they cut the fibroid out the inside of my uterus and any doctor would tell me a c-section is necessary as a result. He said they don’t want me to go into labor and have contractions, which will cause the uterus to contract, because I would be at risk for uterine rupture. Although there’s a 3% chance of that happening they don’t want to take that risk.
He said he will probably send me to a high risk doctor around 35 weeks to determine whether the baby’s lungs are developed enough for delivery. They will check this via amniocentesis. I’m assuming that if the lungs are developed enough he will go ahead and schedule the c-section.
My question is does this sound safe and normal? I totally trust my doctor but I want to hear from other ladies who have experience.
Thanks in advance.

I noticed the question posted twice and that was obviously as glitch. Why would I post the same question 20 times?
