following an abnormal smear and other symptoms. I have previously been treated for pre-cancerous and cancerous cells via laser treatment, 10 years ago. I have now been diagnosed as having CIN1 and HPV following biopsy’s taken during the colposcopy. An internal scan has also been taken which has eliminated the possibility of fibroids (having had very heavy, clotted bleeding). Bleeding happens ad hoc. Sometimes no bleeding for 2 months or so and then my bleeding may last for up to 28+ days or so. Intercourse is very painful for which I understand why, as in addition to CIN1 and HPV I have also been diagnosed as having a prolapsed cervix (it is bulked) and also a prolapsed womb, when I had the colposcopy. I have suffered numerous miscarriages and I do not have children.(my partner is fully aware of my situation and is supporting me as he best can). The gynaecology department is pushing me from pillar to post… certain sections within the department deal with the cancerous issues, others deal with miscarriage issues etc.. I have worked in the medical field but have no vast knowledge of gynaecology issues. Can anyone advise me on what the likely treatment will be please? The pain can at times be excruciating. I have an appointment with my GP late next week and a follow-up colposcopy appointment shortly. However I am out of my mind with worry. My mother had to have a hysterectomy at the age of 27 and "women’s" problems are prevalent on both maternal and paternal sides of my family. Any advice that anyone can give will help me greatly. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my question x

I have 25 years old and have been having my period since I was 10. Which mean I have been having my period for 15 years. I have tried just about everything over the counter you can buy. I have been diagnosed with PCOS, Endometrosis, and Fibroids. Every month my period is hell on wheels. I have called my ob and all she called in for me is Naproxen 550 mg which I told her I already have a bottle of and she still called it in. Nothing seems to help. She has me on provera 10 to help induce my period because of the PCOS. Any suggestions?
How can i make the doctor understand that nothing over the counter works but that I am not one of these people who are just looking for pills? I have tried Midol, Midol PM, Acetaminophen 500 and Acetaminophen pm, Excedrin Menstrual, Naproxen 550, Motrin 800mg, Pamprin. I have had my period for over 15 years.
I can not take birth control because it makes me have 2 period every month and makes me really jittery. I have tried this in the past.
I was diagnosed with several fibroids when I have a csection back in 2009. All the dr told me was they were non cancerous tumors and later in life I may have to have a hysterectomy. I just recently started seeing a new doctor. I have not seen one since 2009. How often should you have the fibroids checked by ultrasound, and what are the treatments if any for them?

about 2 months ago i have 4 fibroids i was put on a herbal treatment for a month. i feel the fibroids went away. the pain is gone and my pd is regular. i finished the medication now my periods are on time. ive been having unprotected sex with my long term bf. he doesn’t really ejaculate. my last pd was 12/11. but it was really light and only lated about 3 days. with me previous it was heavy and lasted 5 days. i’ve also been urinating a lot. it could be up to 3 times in one night. has this happened to anyone and they later found out they are prego?

I am 52 years old and have been diagnosed with fibroids for the 2nd time, the first time I had a Endometrial ablation, thats was about 10years ago, I have been told that due to my age they will not offer me that again, and that I will have to have a hysterectomy, my fibriods are causing bladder
problems, that can be quite embarasing! is there any other treatment? I really do not want hysterectomy. for info I have been 12 months without a period.

I have a few fibroid tumors that I have to have removed. I was scheduled to have them removed next week. Unfortunately, the facility that I would have the procedure done has been ordered to shut down. You see, I’m a Naval veteran and the veteran’s hospital surgical department in St. Louis was closed until further notice because of unsanitary conditions. I was injured last year in a fall that caused my wrist to be partically detached. My wrist was broken in three places and required massive reconstructive surgery. My wrist is completely rebuilt with metal and screws. It’s hard to get use to that. But I have no insurance other than the VA. I’m pending my disability and a settlement. What other resources do I have to turn to?
