Does losing weight help reduce Fibroid Tumors?

I have just been diagnosed with fibroid tumors (multiple). After looking around on the internet, I see that overweight people are more at risk to have them. If I lost weight will that help my issue?
Also, will I still be able to conceive a child with fibroids?

They’re unrelated.
You’ll need to talk with a GYN about your last question.
I was only 110 lbs. when I was diagnosed with fibroid tumors. I’ve always been small, and I don’t think that weight has anything to do with it. I also had ovarian cysts and endometriosis, so I had to have a complete hysterectomy. I do believe a woman can still conceive with fibroids. All the best.
I don’t believe losing weight would have any impact on the fibroid tumors.
There is a certain brand of vitamin E that has helped some get rid of the fibroids. One individual, for example, took six Vita-E for three weeks and when re-examined the tumors were practically gone.
Hope this is useful and feel free to contact me with questions.
