yes. they can grow along with your periods and may also grow along with your pregnancy. usally they do not cause any complications during the pregnancy but a small proportion is associated with abortion. consult your obstetrician.

No doctor here, so take what I say with a grain of salt and ask a doctor. In the past, uterine fibroids were sometimes treated by a hysterectomy. That definitely relates to pregnancy if you are still in child bearing years. Current treatment can often be done using embolization to reduce the size of the fibroids.
