Exercise help – I have PCOS & fibroid tumors?
Hi everyone,
I am wanting to start exercising but I don’t quite know where to start or what to do. I have PCOS and fibroid tumors, both of which cause a lot of pain. Sometimes, even stretching a certain way causes a lot of pain, therefore making it difficult to exercise. I am going to get a treadmill for walking (I can’t go outside very well) but until I can do so, I would like to know if anyone has any other ideas?
Thank you for your help!

I have fibriods too. I literally feel your pain. If you cant get out side the treadmill will be the best option. IF youre like me, then youre anemic as well. Which makes it extremly difficult to exercise. I started off with a exercise bike to build my strength up. Then i started walking two days a week in the park. Once you build your strenth then you can upgrade a little.
i suffer from psco as well exercise well sort of i take my tim i go on the walking machine and o at my own pace.
I also have fibriods I thought I was literally the only one that had pain from them. I thought my doctors were lying to me. But I think you should try it for a few mins and see what walking does for you. Me personally I couldn’t do anything. I mean trying to sit up and eat was a MAJOR problem. I had to quit a job because of too much walking. That’s why I say try it a few mins first if that works then its a GREAT place to start.
I’m sorry to hear that. try walking up and down stairs if u can
I had the fibroids and i have PCOS. Have your blood levels looked at, especially insullion. Mine was way high. The fibroids were removed with a dnc procedure. My dr told me to cut a lot of carbs and sugar out of my diet and drink a lot of water.
This is especially hard for me since I am a sugar addict and love pasta and breads!
oo i have that too and its not nice at all.
i walk alot but cannot use gym machines as i am in agony the next day. take it easy and it depends on your body as too what you can do..
good luck .. try the pcos website it has lots of good ideas
