Hello everyone, I am 25 years old female mommy of 2 beautiful daughters ages 7 and 9 1/2 years old. I have been battling an Ovarian cyst after a late miscarriage back in November 2009. I delivered a tiny baby angel girl who spread her wings at 21 weeks gestation. After this birth in November of 2009 I got on Depo Provera to give my body, mind and heart time to heal before trying again. I received 1 depo shot November 19th 2009 and never went back for another one because i know it takes time for your body to regulate. long story short I went for my postpartum check up and everything looked fine. I needed an annual and follow up in May 2010 and an ultrasound detected an ovarian cyst 2cm, my gyno wanted to follow up on the cyst because it was on both sides of my ovaries. One on the left and one on the right. as time went on i noticed i wasn’t conceiving at all and we tried several times. she told me to give the depo some time to leave my system, my periods are always on time and i get them 5 days a week so I’m pretty much normal on my cycles and have been since i was on the depo. 23 months later since my late miscarriage with no success of a pregnancy, It has shown that my cyst is only on the right side now and measure 5 cm large with another 3 cm one right on top of it, also a 2 cm fibroid was found today on the lining of my uterus. My doctor is not taking appropriate actions and i am concerned that I am now infertile and unable to conceive. since the loss of my daughter which was nearly 2 years ago, i am now more devastated then ever knowing i may not have an opportunity to conceive again, my former husband has left me for another women who is now carrying his healthy baby inside her womb and I am so crushed. I wanted one more child more then anything but all these new cyst and fibroid are crushing my dream. can someone please give me advice on what I should do?? i think its time to get a new doctor but that takes time to transfer. Could i be infertile? are these things operable or curable? I need some sort of closure to help ease my mind please help.
