has anyone had fibroid tumors what symtoms did you have and did they cause and fertility problems

Not all women have symptoms. I have extremely large fibroid which was found by mistake during an ultrasound that was done for other reasons. I do not have any symptoms. Some of the symptoms are:
- Sensation of fullness or pressure in lower abdomen
- Pelvic cramping or pain with periods
- Abdominal fullness, gas
- Increase in urinary frequency
- Heavy menstrual bleeding (menorrhagia), sometimes with the passage of blood clots
- Sudden, severe pain due to a pedunculated fibroid
- Bleeding between periods
- Low back pain
- Pain during sexual intercourse
About the fertility, many woman have no problems even with large fibroids and other woman have miscarriages with small fibroids. It all depends on the type and position of the fibroid/s and each individual woman is different

My sister had fibroids in her uterus that she had removed. She had no problems getting pregnant but she had to have scheduled C-sections when delivery time came.
Not sure what her symptoms were, though.
On my last ultrasound, i found out I had two fibroids tumors in my uterus. The doctor told me not to worry about it. She asked me if I felt any pains on my side, or did I have any crampings. I didn’t so….
The symptoms would be heavy and painful periods. And yes, they can cause fertility problems even after they are surgically removed.
I have fibroids, some people have no symptoms, but for me I had severe pelvic pain, so I had them removed. My doctor told me that as long as my tubes are not block and they are not in the uterus of ovaries I should be fine. Good luck
I had many ffibroids inside my uterus, as big as size of 20 weeks pregnancy. My symptoms were heavy bleeding during period, lump in lower abdomen, weakness and dizzyness due to anemia.
I had to take a surgery to remove the fibroids.
After the surgery the fibroids grew again within 1 year and I wasn’t geting pregnant. There is no proven treatment to confirm pregnancy with the fibroids. Doctor said 2nd time surgery will reduce the chance of getting pregnant. So I tried normal pregnancy with the fibroids. I am lucky, I’m pregnant now ( 26 weeks) with all the huge fibroids. I got pregnant after 22 months of the surgery.
