fibroids during pregnancy?

I am 13 weeks and 4 days pregnant and just found out through a ultrasound that I have a fibroid not to mention cyst on my ovaries. I am scared that the fibroid will lead to a miscarrage. The cyst on my ovaries hurt so bad even when i sneeze it sends a sharp pain to my side. has anyone ever had these complications during pregnancy and what are the outcomes of these.

I have not had fibroids but i do know that it is very common and they have been great outcomes even though they have fibroids… Good Luck!

and she was full of fibroid tumors. She had
an easy pregnancy and a really easy birth.
I’m sure your dr. is watching them.
Most people I know who have had fibroids with a pregnancy experienced no complications. Actually, I can’t recall anyone who had a complication aside from some discomfort (and not everyone experienced discomfort). The doctors always told them the risks, but in the end, it was fine. A very good friend of mine (I am the godmother to her daughter and I was there at her birth), had a fibroid that was discovered during her pregnancy. It protruded a bit from her stomach – kind of looked like half a golf ball stuck under the skin of her belly. The baby would punch it every once in a while. After my goddaughter was born my friend had the fibroid (and a cyst) removed. No real complications… and she has a beautiful, healthy, talkative almost three year old.
I have huge fibroids inside my uterus and those are the size of 20 weeks pregnancy. I’m now 20 weeks pregnant.
I’m quite stable now although I have some bleeding during the 2nd month of my pregnancy. I consulted my doctor and took some medicine and it stopped the bleeding. Otherwise I don’t have any problem, I feel pain when I sneeze.
I think if you are careful , you wont have any problem. The caution I’m taking now are
1. I don’t climb stairs
2. Lie on bed most of the time
3 I don’t carry any heavy weight
4. I don’t do any heavy work.
