fibroids question?
i’ve read the symptoms of fibroids and was wondering if there is a good chance i might have them. i have heavy bleeding during menstruation, it says in severe cases heavy bleeding may last as long as two weeks that seems about right to me cause my last period lasted 19 days and was heavy. it says that large fibroids can also cause pressure and pain in the abdomen or lower back that sometimes feels like menstrual cramps and my abdomen always hurts. it says also pelvic cramping or pain with periods i have that. also that sudden severe pain due to a pedunculated fibroid and i have sudden severe pain. whatcha think? =/

My mom has very large fibroids. On her period, she uses super plus tampons and pads too. She’s in pain alot. Your symptoms suggest you may have fibroids, but to be sure you need to see a gunecologist. Get them removed while they’re small[er].
I think you should get checked out by a Dr….sometimes women can have heavy/difficult periods because of the hormone balances or many other factors….fibroids is just 1 of many possible reasons.
