I am pregnant right now after having three surgeries to remove a fibroid in my uterus. Third time was a charm, the type that I had wasn’t just sitting on the top, so that’s why so many. Got pregnant the first try after all that!! Right now I am 8w 5d and things are going great!!
I had major uterine fibroid surgery (myomectomy) to remove 2 large tumors, one of which went through the wall of my uterus and went on to have two successful pregnancies and natural births (no C-section), the second of which was at home. My doctor was great and never said I couldn’t do it – supported me all the way, probably against conventional medical thinking. It is entirely possible!
