Helping yourself is a superior idea
I had surgery for them back in the 1990s hoping to be able to conceive again, but it didn’t happen, but it did eliminate the irregular periods and heavy bleeding for several years. I ended up having a hysterectomy 7 years ago as the fibroids that they couldn’t remove the first time started growing.
There are other options than hysterectomy as another respondent mentioned such as embolization. Check out webmd.com for more information on treatment options.
