I am 6 weeks pregnant and have some lower left abdominal pain because of fibroids. Is it dangerous?

My ultrasound shows 3 big 7-9 cm fibroids in my lower uterus, left and right side. I had no pain before but since three days I experience some pain in left side.No back pain or bleeding is there. I am very much worried that I should not have a miscarriage. Is my baby is growing? This is my first pregnancy and I am 29 years old.

Hi, I’m 27 years old and I have same situation like you. I have many ( around 30) different size fibroids inside my uterus and I’m 29 weeks pregnant. My fibroids are as big as size of 20 weeks pregnancy. I’m already huge.
I had no pain during my pregnancy but i had some bleeding when I was 12 weeks pregnant, I had a surgery in 2005 to remove fibroids and now I have pain on the previous stitch. Other then that I don’t have serious problem.
I think your situation is much better then mine. I think you need to take rest and follow doctor’s advice. Don’t do any hard work. take a lot of vegetables, fruits and nutritious food. take folic acid, calcium and vitamin supplement. If you do these your baby wont have any vitamin deficiency.
I believe you will be alright.

i have a friend who has fibroids and because of it she has had a miscairrage, be very careful, if somehting dosnt feel right go to the doctor, even if your in there every week at least it gives you peace of mind and a safe baby
