I never bleed after intercourse.or never bled inbetween periods.only have menses bleeding 4to5days per month.?
but I bled on after the virginal ultrasound scan which doctor too got scared and made me fear too.i didnt have any pain or even the ultrasound scan probe didnt come with blood.but i was tensed before the scan.and after the scan when i got up from the bed suddenly i start bleeding which made me shivering with fear.no cramps or anything.i’m trying to get pregnant.after i came home it bled a little and it was over.this was a shocking experience and I never wanted to go to a doctor again.doctor was a lady and reacted as she has never seen blood before.it was one year before and within this one year I never bled inbetween or when intercourse either.i can not forget that incident still and that prevents me from going to a doctor again.anybody had similar experience on the first day of ultrasound?i’m still worried.but my periods are regular and I get it every month on time.first two days i have cramping and after that it goes and period lasts for 4-5 days.i assum this is healthy.and my husbands sperm count is low.he is under treatment.anyway i’m worried over that incident and don’t like to go to a doctor again.why did i bled that day??and till now never bled.do i have any unusual bleeding problems or fibroids or anything?i did a blood test soon after that.everything were normal except two things which is slightly above average.neutrophilosis and prolactin.the comment was i have mild neutrophilosis infection.and my prolactin was 29.1. other than that everything was in the range they have given in the report.I took diflucan one tablet for the infection.after that never went for a treatment or test.so far periods are regular and i also feel ovulation on the 14-15th day of my cycle with a mild cramp either side every month.i dont know what i should do further.

I cannot tell you the answer for sure, but I can give some possibilities. Sometimes there is a polyp on the cervix which bleeds when it is pressed on. Usually though, this would also happen with intercourse. The most likely possibility is that there was a small tear that happened during the vaginal ultrasound. I would expect that it healed up fairly quickly as the bleeding stopped. I know you are scared to go to the doctor now, but don’t worry, no one can make you have an exam if you say no. I suggest you go to the doctor who ordered the test, or to your family doctor, with a print out of your question and any answers you get. An exam would be a good idea, and should be perfectly safe. I hope you do agree to it. The doctor can look at the report from the ultrasound and see if the bleeding was mentioned.
