If a person has pain in the right ovary area, I do have fibroids on them, could that be the cause of the pain?

Fibroids Symptoms, Causes, Treatments and Removal
Actually, a fibroid is a knotted growth in the muscle layer of the uterous. It’s not really something that happens to the ovary. But, although it usually causes pain that is more in the midline of the abdomen, you could certainly sense the pain toward one side or the other.
You could also have pain related to the ovary itself. You might have an ovarian cyst causing the pain. Or if you’re midway between periods this could be something call Mittlesmertz pain, which is pain caused by rupturing of the cyst that releases the egg. Some women know when this happens every month, while others feel it only occasionally or never at all.
Also, your appendix is in the same general area as your ovary. If this has been going on less then a day and you start having increasing pain, fever, or vomiting you need to have that checked out.
No matter what the cause is, if it continues to bother you or if the pain isn’t relieved by Motrin you should probably check with your OB/GYN. Hope this helps.
definitely could be. i’d ask your doctor about it.
