Serious women only please, fibroid tumors?

what are they and how can they be treated? anyone to care to share their experiences please? Can you still have children with this type of tumor and will this type of tumor kill you? Thank you ahead of time……

Fibroids can form in any layer of the uterus, i.e. myometrial, submucosal, endometrial, and pedunculated (outside the uterus on a stem). Fibroids of the uterus are non cancerous or benign. They are, however, very inconvenient. They can cause heavier periods and irregular bleeding. There are many options for removal, but surgery is the only final option. An oblation is a way of cutting off the blood supply to them, but sometimes it does not work as well as they would like. If they get big enough, you can have other complications that may force you into surgery. Watch out about being on hormones as this can cause them to grow. Ask your doctor about that.
As far as children, it really is hard to say. If the tumor stays fairly small, I have worked with many women who have a small tumor and have a successful pregnancy. If it gets big, it is difficult for the uterus to sustain the pregnancy. I also have worked with women that have this problem.
The best thing to do is to work with your doctor, as he knows your condition best. Ask all the questions you think you need to ask, don’t be shy. Your doctor will have the best answers as they apply to you.
I was told it was a mass of non cancerous cells that accumulate around the uterus wall. I used to also have menorrhagia(heavy bleeding with clots). Apparently i had the one that was in the uterine wall and caused irregular and frequent bleeding. This also caused me to have a period for a bout 20 days of the month. I was told I had a 50/50 chance of having children. Eventually the muscle wall of the uterus was unable to hold a child and thus i was unable to have children. I then got spots on the uterine wall that was then diagnosed as endometriosis. I did not have any children due to the excessive bleeding i had. But with the new procedures now i heard there is a chance one can have children. I lived with the bleeding and ended up having a hysterectomy after 10years of pain.
now girl i have to assure i know of the subject myself thank you. fibroid cancer is a very rare and unapreciated condition, breasts are like melons without expanse, you will credit me if i take the time to explain myself. It is a pity that so many are traveling to space and no cure is found or reasonable treatment without ointments or rubs. Now i get to believe these folks dont want to disrespect me or you by getting to think of medication for our ailments. Fibroid tumors be cured with anhidrine or chemical firing. Hope you luck. I don’t know if this will help or anything, but i just turned 15 recently (like 2 weeks ago) i am diagnosed with 4 fibroid tumors. all ranging about 2-4 cm, and I’m a very petite person. Some will not cause pain or symptoms, some will. Mine constantly cause me pain. They can also cause heavy periods, and huge blood clots. You will probably just be put on birth control for that. For fibroid that cause no pain, usually they will not do anything for it, but those that cause pain, they will ether do a d and c, or probably hysterectomy, or if its really bad, hysterectomy. You can totally still have children, even if you haven’t had them removed, but they might cause inferty or miscarriages. After hysterectomy you can not have children though. They won’t kill you at all, no possible chance, its only a 0.001% that they will turn into cancer, and most liky it won’t
