Has anyone with Uterine fibroids had any luck with progesterone cream? If so what did you think? Did it help decrease the size of the fibroid?

I have seen limited results with the cream in my practice. I would recommend you look into uterine fibroid ablation therapy. This is a simple procedure where a catheter is introduced into the uterine artery and the artery is obstructed with a variety of tools (particles, gel-foam, glue, etc.), which will inhibit blood flow to the uterus and thus cause the fibroids to shrink. A fairly painless procedure with minimal complications. Ask your primary care physician or your gynecologist for a referral to an interventional radiologist to discuss this procedure further. In most cases it is covered by insurance.
I work in Interventional Radiology and we have great success with Uterine Fibroid Embolectomy. This is a simple procedure that cuts off blood flow and destroys the fibroid. This is a permanent solution and works much better for the long term than medications. Ask your OB/GYN about this as a possible option
