		<description>One thing that could help (although it&#039;s not new) is to try a medication called Lupron to see if that helps shrink it.  Another thing out there that can be of help is called uterine fibroid embolization but it only works for fibroids in certain areas.  Size also becomes an issue.

A third thing that some are using is ultrasound to try and dissolve the fibroid.
