Why women who had a myomectomy surgery are disqualified as egg donors?

I had this procedure a year ago because I had a fibroid in my uterus; however I will still be able to have children. How come these kinds of surgeries are a disqualification as an egg donor?

Most likely (now I don’t really know, as I have never looked into it), it is because the rounds of hormones they give you and the retrieval of the eggs could be complicated by a possible problem in there. If you had a fibroid in your uterus, they figure you are more likely to have them elsewhere and that might interfere with the application of the hormones and retrieval. But there are so many qualifications that you can tell they really want the "easiest" canidates so their efforts pay off.
