Wife had hysterectomy, now her pain is worse?

She was in pain w/ fibroid tumors but they removed her uterus.
Now six months later she is in far worse pain, she was a size 6-8 now a size 14-16
Was always thin but her stomach is hard as a rock and she cant do anything.
She is getting worse by the week, is their anyone that had the same troubles?
We have had every test known done and the doctors are at a loss as to what is going on.
What now…….

Get a second opinion A.S.A.P. Is it a Hernia? Did they check for that? What about infection? I would go with a different doctor and/or hospital all together and see what they think. Your wife shouldn’t be in that much pain after wards. Did they leave any instruments inside her like a sponge or gauze? There was a special on the discovery channel about people getting seriously sick after surgery and finding things like surgical gloves, gauze’s, etc. still left inside them. Tell them to do an x-ray or an ultrasound to see what comes up. I hope that helps you and your darling wife out.
My mother in law also had a hysterectomy and she gained alot of weight it is not uncommon as a matter of fact most woman who do have a hysterectomy will gain weight….
Have you went to the doctor since she has been experiencing this pain?? If no you need to if all she had removed was her uterus the endometriosis mar have returned, is your wife taking hormones?? that could also be the reason for the weight gain..
Best thing to do is go see your doctor have them do tests and check for endo again…I wish the both of you all the luck
